Boo Thang & His Womern
Boo Thang & His Womern started as a wedding gift for our niece Katie and her new husband, Brian. I wanted to turn some of the stories, inside jokes, and wonderfully quirky details of their relationship into a fun, upbeat love song that felt like them.
This was my first attempt at capturing their story, from late-night conversations and Crocs to fairgrounds, wrestling, Dewey, and their own unique way of saying, “I love you.” The result became a groovy, playful celebration of a couple that clearly knows how to laugh together and enjoy the ride.

The song definitely hit the mark with Katie. Brian, however, was a little less convinced. Apparently even a custom-made wedding anthem can have a tough crowd.
So I went back to work.
