Spell It Out!
“Spell It Out!” is a bright, playful children’s song created for Aubrey to make learning letters and spelling feel more like a game than a lesson. Built around catchy repetition, simple words, and plenty of energy, the song encourages little learners to listen, repeat, spell along, and celebrate every word they get right.
The idea is simple: take the everyday words that Aubrey is familiar with, people, and things that are already part of a child’s world and turn them into a musical adventure. Instead of quietly practicing letters, “Spell It Out!” invites kids to say them proudly, sing them loudly, and discover how individual letters come together to make the words they already know and love.
Like so many of the songs I’ve created for Aubrey, this one was inspired by watching the world become bigger through the eyes of a little girl who is constantly learning something new. At this age, every sound, letter, word, and accomplishment can feel like a major discovery—and sometimes the best way to learn is simply to make it fun enough that you want to do it again.
