Happy Birthday Flash!
Happy Birthday Flash! is a birthday gift for my longtime friend Dave “Flash” Morgan, celebrating more than 15 years of friendship, laughter, music, and more than a few wonderfully ridiculous memories.
Flash has always brought a high-energy, slightly silly, anything-can-happen kind of spirit to the room. Whether he is behind a microphone, working a crowd, singing karaoke, or just being himself, he has a way of turning an ordinary moment into a story people remember.
“Flash brings the fun, no matter where we are.”
The song looks back at some of the adventures we have shared through the years, from the Rockin’ Roadshow and radio days to pirate floats, karaoke, inside jokes, and moments that probably made a lot more sense when we were actually living them.
More than anything, Happy Birthday Flash! is about friendship. It is a way to say thank you for the laughs, the energy, the memories, and for being the kind of friend who helps make the crazy stories worth telling.
“Another year older, but forever young,
Happy Birthday, Flash, let the wild times run!”
Happy Birthday, Flash. Here’s to more laughs, more music, and plenty more stories neither of us will ever be able to explain properly.
Happy Birthday Flash!
Hey y'all, gather 'round, let’s raise a toast,
To our buddy Dave 'Flash' Morgan, the one we cherish the most!
Pandemic struck, a wild ride ahead,
We created the Rockin' Roadshow, 'cause that's how we spread,
Howie's got the plans, but you're the star,
Flash brings the fun, no matter where we are.
Chorus
Happy Birthday, Flash, let the good times roll,
With a heart like yours, you’re a true rock 'n' roll,
Just the talent, no stress on your mind,
Tonight we’ll celebrate, leave the troubles behind!
Remember Fart in a Bubble? We laughed 'til we cried,
Stupid Human Tricks, we had nothing to hide,
From the Radio Show to the Bar and Grill,
Your laughter’s the spark, it gives us the thrill.
Chorus
Happy Birthday, Flash, let the good times roll,
With a heart like yours, you’re a true rock 'n' roll,
Just the talent, no stress on your mind,
Tonight we’ll celebrate, leave the troubles behind!
DJ Flash, karaoke king,
On the KBR float, you’re the real deal thing,
“When you want these beads, make some noise!” you shout,
We’re all in the crowd, let’s rock this out!
So here’s to you, buddy, on your special day,
With friends by your side, we’ll laugh and we’ll play,
Howie vs. the Bear, you stole the show,
With a spirit so bright, you’ll always glow.
Chorus
Happy Birthday, Flash, let the good times roll,
With a heart like yours, you’re a true rock 'n' roll,
Just the talent, no stress on your mind,
Tonight we’ll celebrate, leave the troubles behind!
Outro
So raise up your glasses, here’s to you,
Dave 'Flash' Morgan, our friend so true,
Another year older, but forever young,
Happy Birthday, Flash, let the wild times run!
