Snoop Told Me To...
I saw the article that Snoop Dogg and Dr. Bombay were looking for an International Ice Cream Taster, and apparently the job involves eating ice cream, spotting flavor trends, and helping shape future products.
So naturally, I reviewed the qualifications and thought...
After submitting the boring application, I decided simply filling out a form wasn't enough.
If Snoop Dogg is looking for someone to represent Dr. Bombay Ice Cream, I figured I should give him a proper audition.
So I made one.
What Exactly Is “Gold Spoon”?
The premise is pretty simple:
Give me the scoop.
Let me handle the rest.
What started as a funny news story turned into one of those creative rabbit holes I love falling into.
A little humor. A little music. A little AI-assisted creativity. And suddenly I had a full audition tape for a job that involves tasting ice cream for a living.
Honestly, there are worse career pivots.
Why “Gold Spoon”?
The song leans into the idea of treating ice cream tasting like a high-stakes professional calling.
Because if there is going to be an International Ice Cream Taster, that person should bring:
Commitment.
Discipline.
Focus.
And preferably a very large freezer.
The song became my way of saying:
Not because I have years of professional ice cream credentials.
Not because I have a degree in frozen dessert science.
But because I believe in showing up prepared when opportunity calls.
Preferably with a spoon.
Turning a Joke Into a Production
The video is my attempt to turn a traditional application into something a little more memorable.
Instead of simply saying, “I want the job,” I wanted to show some personality.
That's really the whole spirit behind WavnAtCha Music.
Take an idea.
Push it a little further.
Make it fun.
Make it weird.
Make it yours.
And then see where it goes.
Would I Actually Take the Job?
International travel?
Ice cream?
Flavor testing?
Giving opinions?
I have apparently been training for this my entire life without realizing it.
So if anyone from Dr. Bombay happens to find this page...
I am available.
And I take my research very seriously.

Intro
Yo Snoop, let me holler for a second…
Verse 1
I heard Dr. Bombay need a tongue with class,
A freezer aisle scholar with a stainless spoon pass.
I ain’t just snackin’, I’m inspectin’ the cream,
One bite, two bites, I can decode the dream.
I got taste buds trained like a canine crew,
Pickin’ up fudge notes, berry swirls too.
If the texture ain’t smooth, I’ma know right away,
I take my job serious when it comes to Bombay.
I’m talkin’ scoop game proper, no drip, no mess,
Cone in my hand like I’m dressed for success.
Sherbet hit bright, vanilla roll clean,
Peanut butter groove with a jelly routine.
Put me in the lab, let the flavors all stack,
I’ll tell you what’s fire and what needs to come back.
I’ll taste it in the morning, I’ll taste it at night,
If the pint ain’t poppin’, I’ll make it sit right.
I’m loyal to the mission, I’m cool with the cold,
Got a freezer full of courage and a spoon made of gold.
No flavor gets judged by the name on the lid,
I judge by the smile that it gives to a kid.
So Snoop, I’m your guy, let the taste test begin,
I’ll roll through the flavors with a satisfied grin.
From the first little scoop to the last little bite,
I’ll keep Dr. Bombay creamy, dreamy, and tight.
I ain’t here for the fame, I ain’t here for the clout,
I’m here to make sure every pint checks out.
So pass me the spoon and let the freezer door swing,
Your new taste tester just stepped in the ring.
Final Chorus
Dr. Bombay, I’m ready today,
One spoon, one scoop, let me lead the way.
If Snoop needs proof, I got flavor display,
Hire me now, I’ll taste-test all day.
