Fire the Cannons!
Fire the Cannons! is a full-throttle Tampa Bay Buccaneers anthem built for game day, stadium lights, raised flags, and the unmistakable roar of a crowd ready for football season.
The song leans into everything that makes Bucs football feel larger than life: pewter and red, the pirate ship, Raymond James Stadium, touchdown celebrations, chants from the stands, and of course the moment every fan waits for...
“Raise the flag, wave it proud,
FIRE THE CANNONS, hear it loud!”
From the Creamsicle years to modern-day Pewter pride, the song celebrates the history, energy, and loyalty that have followed the Buccaneers through every season. It is part fight song, part rally cry, and part excuse to yell “Go Bucs!” at an unreasonable volume.
At its core, Fire the Cannons! is about that shared game-day feeling when the team takes the field, the crowd comes alive, and for a few hours everyone in the stadium is pulling in the same direction.
“From Ray Jay’s lights to the open sea,
The Buccaneers ride to victory!”
So raise the flag, stomp your feet, turn it up loud, and get ready for kickoff.
Fire the cannons!
Fire the Cannons!
Verse 1
The flags are flyin’, the crowd’s on fire,
Pewter and Red, we’re risin’ higher!
Sunday’s callin’, the season’s begun,
The Bucs set sail, and the battles are won!
Week to week, we’re making our stand,
Bringing the heat, making history grand.
From the stands to the field, hear the roar,
The spirit of Tampa, always wanting more.

FIRE THE CANNONS, hear it loud! 💣

The Buccaneers ride to victory!

Red for the passion, Pewter for the fight,
Black in the shadows, under stadium lights!
Twice we’ve conquered, we’ll do it again,
Undefeated kings, Buccaneer men!
With each touchdown, we bring the thrill,
Our hearts beat fast, you know we will!
Charge with the roster, ready to ignite,
In every battle, we’re fighting right.
