Blackbeard's 15th Voyage
Blackbeard's 15th Voyage celebrates 15 years of friendship, service, laughter, and unforgettable adventures with the Krewe of Blackbeard's Revenge.
Founded on May 9, 2011, KBR was built around a simple idea: pirates can have a lot of fun while still doing a lot of good. Through parades, events, and charitable work, the Krewe has spent years living out its mission of Pirates Providing for People.
“With each passing year, the legends grow tall,
In these heartfelt moments, we cherish them all.”
The song looks back on the memories that come with a decade and a half together: cannon fire, beads flying through the air, pirate calls, music, laughter, friendship, and the feeling of being part of a crew that has created its own history along the way.
Beneath the pirate swagger, Blackbeard's 15th Voyage is really about the bonds formed through shared experiences and a commitment to making a difference in the community.
“The history we’re writing, with ink from our hearts,
In the Krewe of Blackbeard’s, we’re all playing our parts.”
Fifteen years is a lot of voyages, a lot of stories, and probably more beads than anyone could ever count. Here’s to the crew, the memories, the mission, and the adventures still ahead.
Blackbeard's 15th Voyage
Intro
Gather 'round, let me tell you a tale,
Of a crew so bold, they’ll never fail,
With a spirit that's fierce and hearts filled with glee,
Krewe of Blackbeard's Revenge, come celebrate with me!
Verse 1
Fifteen years sailing on this wild ride,
With cannon fire laughter, and passion inside.
Through parades downtown, we painted the night,
With beads flying high, our joy takes flight.
From Tampa’s warm shores to the big city lights,
We’re a crew of the brave, chasing magical sights.
Chorus
Oh, raise your cups, let the stories unfold,
For Blackbeard’s Revenge, so daring and bold.
With each passing year, the legends grow tall,
In these heartfelt moments, we cherish them all.
Verse 2
Treasure maps gathered, friendships unchained,
In the heart of the revelry, memories gained.
With every “Ahoy!” and each joyous cheer,
We’ve forged our own legacy, year after year.
The laughter, the music, the dances we share,
In the Krewe of Blackbeard’s, it’s love in the air.
Chorus
Oh, raise your cups, let the stories unfold,
For Blackbeard’s Revenge, so daring and bold.
With each passing year, the legends grow tall,
In these heartfelt moments, we cherish them all.
Bridge
From pirate tales whispered, to dreams that we chase,
Fifteen years later, we’re still setting pace.
With weathered old banners that flutter with pride,
Together we sail on this jubilant tide.
The history we’re writing, with ink from our hearts,
In the Krewe of Blackbeard’s, we’re all playing our parts.
Chorus
Oh, raise your cups, let the stories unfold,
For Blackbeard’s Revenge, so daring and bold.
With each passing year, the legends grow tall,
In these heartfelt moments, we cherish them all.
Outro
So here’s to the crew, to the laughter, the cheer,
To fifteen great years, and many more near.
With each step we take, hand in hand we’ll grow,
In the spirit of Blackbeard, forever we flow.
